The representation of information through graphs allows to know the relationship that exists between the data.
To display the graphs, use the Charts button available in the buttons bar, or access the menu View → Charts.
Timeline chart is a type of chart that visually shows the chronological sequence of past or future events on a timescale. The chart's timescale is in days, or bigger units of time when averaged values are displayed.
The linear graphs produced by GEDEX relate the time factor to other data, allowing to know the evolution of the office with the passage of time.
In the following example, the horizontal axis represents the passage of time: on the left the beginnings of your office are shown, and on the right, the current date.
The vertical axis indicates how many cases/matters existed at each time (open cases in red color, and closed cases in green).
In this specific example, we observe that the growth of the office slowed down during the central years: the green zone (open cases) reduced its growth rate (that is, fewer new cases were registered). The red zone shows us that over time all files have been closed at an almost exponential rate of work (that is, each time the cases are resolved more effectively).
Since the number of closed cases can only grow over time (each time a case is closed it increases), the red area of the graph is always increasing.
